When I think of people looking to start a home based business, I typically think about their actual desires to do so. From my experience, I've found that many individuals tell you they want to work at home, but many have no idea what it takes to make that transition. So I have to ask the question, "Do they really have the desire, drive and fortitude to do what it takes to work from home?"
Desire alone will not get the job done. I can desire all day long that I want to be a professional football player, golfer, or tennis player, but if I do not put forth the effort, drive myself to be the best, and keep going when the muscles are aching, I will never make it.
Desire is more than wanting something; it's the will to do what it takes to become what you desire. And that's no different with a work at home business. If you want to become successful, with a work at home business, you have to have what it takes to overcome the pain and suffering when things are not going as planned.
Too often people quit before their, once sought after, desire fizzles out. Why? Fortitude! The willingness to stay the course when things get really tough; the guts to hang in even though others are telling you it's time to get a job; and the courage to continue moving towards your goals when the money is not coming in as expected. That's what fortitude is all about.
Another thing that comes to my mind is discipline! Do you have the discipline to be able to work from home? It's so easy to get distracted by all the things that need to be done around the house. However, to become successful, one has to have the discipline to avoid those distractions and stay focused on the task at hand. Now I'm not saying there aren't important household tasks that need to be taken care of, because all of us have them. And I know there are certain chores that need to be done on a daily basis.
What I'm talking about is the work that needs to be done to build your business. You need to be focused on that and that only, like calling leads, making sales calls, giving business presentations, and helping others in your organization. Unless you're an extraordinary multi-tasker, all distractions must be eliminated. Working to build your home business is the key, busy work does not count.
This holds true for any type of work at home business, including Mary Kay, Tupperware, Arbonne, Amway, TriVita, MonaVie, Send Out Cards, Herbalife, Melaleuca, or the like. Building one of these businesses does not happen overnight, and it's certainly not going to happen by NOT dong the work.
If you have the desire, drive and fortitude, you can build a successful work at home business. However, staying the course, and avoiding distractions is a point of paramount significance.

Work at Home Web Prosperity
Recently I wrote an article about starting a work at home business to create prosperity on the web. In my article I mentioned that anything worthwhile (especially a home business) takes time, dedication, and hard work.
The same day I wrote that article and submitted it to Google, I received a newsletter from one of my online friends. In the newsletter there was a story titled, There Are 3 Kinds of People. I thought it was important enough for anyone attempting to work from their home that I thought I would share the story in its entirety.

Which one are you?
- People who make things happen
- People who watch things happen
- People who wonder what happened
The people who make things happen internalize what it will be like, when the thing to be done has been accomplished. These people tend to talk less and show more by their results.
The people who watch things happen internalize fear. This fear and lack of action makes them a watcher. The playing it safe thought process guarantees that they will only get the crumbs of life, that are left over from everyone else. These people tend to talk more and analyze everything. They always talk about how they would do it differently if it were them. The big problem here is that it never is them; because all they ever do is watch.
The people who wonder what happened internalize their own confusion. Since it is easier for them to just act confused; rather than find out the who, what, where, and why of an occurrence. They never get to really enjoy the sweet feeling of personal accomplishment and becoming all that you can become. These people talk the most. They engage their mouths and let their lips flap away; and then they engage their brain after the fact. Usually the only way these people could say less would be by talking more.
Focus on results and forget the excuses People of results do not have or accept excuses. Either it got done or it did not get done.
'Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good'
So, have you decided what type of person you are? If not, you may want to take a deep accounting of your self, your life successes, you life's challenges, and your life's failures. What caused each one of these things to take place?
Chances are really good that if your work at home business is successful, or you're on the path to success, you make things happen. And it would be my guess that you don't wait for things to happen.
On the other hand, if you're struggling, I would submit to your that you are probably just doing busy work. This is the work that does not accomplish anything other than keeping you away from the things that are important, and will put you on the path to success.
As mentioned previously, it takes hard work to build a successful work at home business. However, working hard is NOT busy work, BUT rather the tough work that needs to be done in order to be successful.
The success of your work at home business can only come from YOU! Don't rely on your family, friends, sponsor, or anyone else to build your home business. Don't sit around watching things happen, because NOTHING is going to happen unless you make things happen. And most importantly, stop wondering what happened to my business or what will happen to my business? Nobody has ever succeeded by wondering, what if.

Most new startups have a lot of excitement at first and then start to settle down. It's no different with Web Prosperity, the self proclaimed, "the most powerful, income-generating Internet Business opportunity anyone has ever seen in the history of this industry!"
Even something as exciting as Web Prosperity has to come down to reality. It seems like the hype surrounding this business opportunity has died to a screeching halt. Their Alexa rating is way down form where it was during prelaunch, and it seems like some of the products features are sub-par.
Web Prosperity has even gone to a "free" sign up, trying to get new members. According to one web site, "You'll be thrilled to know that your opportunity to market and promote Web Prosperity has just grown ten fold!"
"We are now introducing a third membership level, called Web Prosperity Affiliate which is completely FREE to join, no strings attached!"
I don't know if the Web Prosperity affiliate program that is being offered will be enough to sustain this business opportunity. Most people want quality products and services that will help the affiliates promote so they can make money. However, as I mentioned before, there products seem to be sub-par.

I have mentioned several times, and so have other people, that we believe it takes time to build a successful online business. That's not how Web Prosperity is being promoting. Here's a quote from a web site that is reviews of Web Prosperity, http://web-prosperity-review.net:
"Web prosperity was pitched by David Darcangelo as being the best of the best of systems on Google for promoting and getting rich in a home business. Come on guys. Do you really know anyone that has gotten rich online? Do you honestly believe that statements like that are real. Usually web prosperity turns into a sour note to newbie marketer. They jump on these deals like lambs to the slaughter, only to find out later that oops…they made yet another mistake."
It's so true, most of the true online business builders struggle each and every day to make a living. It's hard work! making money doesn't happen by sitting around and waiting for someone to come to your web site. You have to work at it! Remember the old saying, there is no free lunch? It's true!
If you want to prosper on the web, you have to work at it. You have to find your niche, and build spider web of links to your site. Your site not only has to show up close to the top of Google, but it has to show up for keywords that are being searched.
I've never said it was easy, or you can get rich quick. Believe me when I say it takes time and hard work. I've been at it since March 2000, and I'm still not rich, but I am learning, and I am having fun.
Having the proper system will help produce results in a shorter period of time, but there is no get rich quick system. Slow and steady is what it's all about. My web prosperity system is just that, a slow and steady system. It produces results!

Web Prosperity System | 24
There's a lot of trash talk about Web Prosperity going on at review-webprosperity.com (http://review-webprosperity.com/12/web-prosperity-hype/#comment-122). People are claiming the Simon Grabowski, owner of Implix, is part of the opportunity. His company, allegedly, is the one that sold the autoresponder to Web Prosperity.
Is there a crime in being involved with a business opportunity? I don't think so! Well then, what's all the fuss about?
I guess, at least from the comments on review-webprosperity.com, Mr. Grabowski, has been promoting Web Prosperity through his web prosperity site and also through YouTube.com. Then when all the posts about him being involved in Web Prosperity started to show up, he quickly, or someone that controls those sites, took his information down.
Then, from what I gather, he put his information back up. So, I guess you can be the judge if Simon Grabowski has something more to gain, then just the few thousand dollars he received from Web Propserity, for a license to his GetResponse autoresponder.
Here's one of the quotes from review-webprosperity.com:

Then Mr. Grabowski made a statement that denied any involvement in Web prosperity:

But it appears that in fact you were promoting it and apparently are at the top of the matrix. Your YouTube account says:

So what difference does it make? NONE! I guess all anyone is looking for is the truth, and if Grabowski can't tell the truth about something that is supposed to be legal and ethical, then is the the type of person you want to do business with? I guess you will have to be the judge.

My Web Prosperity System, Veretekk, is proven and has withstood the test of time. It's not only the most powerful SEO system, but it's also a tremendous lead generating system; the two things that are needed to prosper on the web.
With that said, I continue to be bombarded with emails regarding "the most powerful, income-generating Internet Business opportunity anyone has ever seen in the history of this industry!" Now that's not my statement, but actually a statement from an email I recently received (see below).
"Do you want to be in control of your financial future? Are you 'hungry' and willing to work to achieve wealth, freedom and security for yourself and your loved ones? Or do you look for any excuse NOT to succeed? I'm being direct with you because the program we are about to present is the most powerful, income-generating Internet Business opportunity anyone has ever seen in the history of this industry!Web Prosperity will change lives, inspire leadership, and create wealth and freedom for thousands around the globe. But we cannot make up your mind for you. We cannot give you drive, ambition, and confidence. What we can give you are the FACTS."
Either Web Prosperity is what is staed wihtin this email, or it's nothing but a BIG lie. I suggest that if you're looking to get involved with Web Prosperity, you do your due-diligence and check out the man behind the business, and some of the "high profile" networkers promoting this opportunity. You may not like what you find!
If you want to prosper on the web, start small, and start with something without all the hype. Prosperity comes to those who work hard and persevere, not because they join the so called, "most powerful, income-generating Internet Business opportunity anyone has ever seen in the history of this industry!"

My research into Web Prosperity continues at scam.com where I've found numerous posts regarding Web Prosperity and its founder, David D'arcangelo. It seem that he is up to his old tricks, moving to a new company/opportunity. From what I've found so far, D'arcangelo has been involved with several opportunities, all of which have failed.
Below is a quote taken from the scams.com web site:
"There is no doubt that David D'arcangelo was involved with Tony Robbins and the ill fated Financial Destiny Group Incorporated. There is no denying David D'Ardangelo's involvement and leadership with Entreport and AMS Health Services, however what David D'Arcangelo doesn't tell you is that each time he touches something it falls apart. Will it be any different with Web Prosperity?D'arcangelo's past business experiences:
- Financial Destiny Group Incorporated - short lived failure.
- Entreport another flop
- AMS Health Services's tock fell under the direction of David D'Arcangelo fell 70%, resulting in his being asked to resign under duress.
Now here comes David D'Arcangelo again riding the same old tired pale horse. (Doesn't death always rides a pale horse?)
This time however King D'arcangelo is swathed in a plain brown wrapper knock off of the Get Response program (Web Prosperity) for which he expects you to pay 3x what it would cost you to use the real thing.
Perhaps someone needs to tell David D'Arcangelo that the King has no clothes."

Missing form the list of D'arcangelo's past experiences is GBG's 10-in-one-vitamins, where he is the company spokesperson. I'm not sure what his involvement is at the present time, but you can still see his videos by going to the GBG's 10-in-1-vitamins web site, http://www.getrichwithvitamins.com/.
I guess only time will tell if this is "a legit business opportunity", but from what I have read, it's more of an illegal pyramid scheme. Web Prosperity is one opportunity that I would NOT recommend you get involved with, until it has been cleared by the authorities.

Web Prosperity cannot be achieved by spamming every email address you find. You can only prosper on the web with honest hard work, and that includes only promoting your pruducts, services and/or opportunity to individuals that have opted in, or have signed up to receive information from you.
I receive hundreds of emails regarding business opportunities, but GDI seems to be leading the race. Here is an excerpt from one such email, "...we picked a winning horse, called GDI. Why? because it is only ten bucks a month and it is global. We also found a guaranteed way to build it, and that is with phone broadcasting. YOU will soon hear the world talking about GDI, it is financial salvation for the masses around the planet."
"It's only ten bucks a month and it's global", is that a reason for signng up with GDI, or any business for that matter? Most businesses are global now-a-days, aren't we entrenched in a global economy? Can web prosperity come from sending out SPAM emails to people you don't even know? I don't think so!
How about an email claiming that you won the lottery? Now that's what I was hoping for!
"Your e-mail was attached to ticket number 1110008342, serial number 6028808. This batch draws the lucky numbers as follows 4-13-7-37-1 bonus number 20, which consequently won the lottery in the First category. You hereby have been approved a lump sum of GBP ?1,000,000.00(ONE MILLION GREAT BRITISH POUNDS).To file for your claim,Please contact our Fiduciary Agent for Validation:"
Yeah, as soon as I give them my information, I can be scammed. Now that makes me feel all warm and cozy, and that was "FROM THE DESK OF THE MANAGER NOKIA N'SERIES PROMOTION" I wonder if Nokia knows about their lottery?
Here's another lottery I won: "The European gaming Million cyber lotto draws was conducted from an exclusive list of 21,000 e-mail addresses of individual and corporate bodies picked by an advanced automated random computer search from the internet,You have therefore been approved to claim a total sum of 550,000 (Five Hundred And Fifty Thousand Euros)."
Then there's always a push-button lead generating system, a diploma in 30 days or less, Viagara - so I can please my woman, a bank that wants to give me money, a tax return from the IRS, and just about anything else you can think of. If you don't find what you're looking for, you can sign up for the ALL Solutions Network (allsolutionsnetwork.com). Their site is loaded with "everything." I just can't seem to get past the mass confusion on the site. YIKES!

Let's take a closer look at one of the principles of Web Prosperity. David D'Arcangelo, founder of Web Prosperity, has had many ventures in the past. Let's take a look at one of his past performances to see if he's the man that can lead a network marketing company, or is he, what some are calling, a "scammer."
D'Arcangelo was named president of AMS Health Sciences in November 2002. He joined AMS after serving as chairman of Entreport, an online training company for real estate agents and franchisors. From 1994 to 1999, D'Arcangelo was president of the D'Arcangelo Cos., a business marketing and training consulting firm.
According to a 10-Q statement filed Friday by AMS, D'Arcangelo signed a one-year contract in November that included a base annual salary of $230,000. The contract included provisions for graduated severance payments of up to 12 months of base pay.
AMS reported a net loss of $1.3 million, or 19 cents per share, for the first quarter. Sales fell 10.1 percent to $4 million from $4.5 million a year earlier.
AMS reported a net loss of $6.3 million, or 90 cents per share, for 2004. The net loss for the year included a tax valuation write- off of $3.2 million. Sales fell 1.6 percent to $18.2 million from $18.5 million in 2003.
D'Arcangelo masterminded a "giveaway program" for Prime One and AMS-100. AMS Health Sciences lost millions of dollars due to the marketing of this "giveaway program". Due to the previously mentioned negligent actions of Mr. D'Arcangelo, this caused the stock price of AMS Health Sciences to plummet, thus the Board of Directors requested the resignation of Mr. D'Arcangelo.
In May of 2005, David D'Arcangelo resigned as president of AMS Health Sciences.
D'Arcangelo, as you can see by his previous track record, may not be the person to lead a network marketing company like Web Prosperity. Is he someone that you wnat to get involved with? Is his reputation as a company leader rock solid? Can Web Prosperity survive with this type of leadership? Only time will tell!

Looking into the new WebProsperity business opportunity, of which I have been inundated with emails and skypes, I've found some interesting information. Not only does it seem that the compensation plan is some illegal pyramid scheme, but from what I've read, the man behind this operation has failed in many other business adventure.
My experience, as an Internet Marketing Advisor, has taught me to always check out the people behind the "DEAL." I advise my clients to do the same thing. Never sign up for a program without first checking out the products and services, and secondly, checking out the men or women behind the operation.
I found this post on scam.com about WebProsperity and it's founder:
D'Arcangelo is a walking disaster, not a guru. And in this case he's apparently partnered with Phil Miranda who is under investigation for the People's Program pyramid scheme.Speaking of which, Web Prosperity itself looks like a pyramid scheme, with the number of levels depending on how much the sucker pays to join.

It's this type of press that makes you wonder what WebProsperity is all about. Is it a true business opportunity, as one of the emails I've received suggests, or is it some type of ponzi scheme as many online posts claim? I don't have enough information on WebProsperity, but with each click of the mouse I learn a little bit more about this hyped-up company.
I found another article talking about WebProsperity's found, David D'arcangelo, and here is what was written:
Would I want to get involved with another company that is associated with Mr. D'Arcangelo? To be very direct, I will say that I'd rather be put into a room with 20 lions and stick my head into each of their mouths - one by one. This would be putting it very kindly!
This is an excerpt from a article on the mlmteam.com blog talking about D'arcangelo and his previous dealings with AMS Health Sciences and GBG 10-in-1 Liquid, and his start-up, WebProsperity.
The Internet is loaded with information. If your looking to sign up with an mlm company make sure you search Google. The extra time up front will say you heartaches in the long run.
